WINNERS SPOTS WIDE OPEN IN THE UCT INTERNAL LEAGUE
With a quick glance at the log, makes Wednesday’s internal league games worth watching. Most teams in action tomorrow night still have the chance to qualify for the A-Section (top 8). So prepare yourselves as teams will give it their all come 17:30 Wednesday night.
The first games of the evening will be played against Panthers and Spanners. Spanners are in a rich vain of form after their dismal performance in the first round. A win for either team will see them through to the top eight. Turtles and Ubumbo will be next up, Ubumbo on 5 points and Turtles on 4 makes for an interesting contest. Both teams can qualify for top eight but a win or a draw will suit Ubumbo just fine.
Wild Boys has taken a bit of a dip in form as they find themselves in third spot in their group. A win with a bonus point tomorrow night can see them reach the top 8 should the Panthers choke against a well oiled Spanners team. Other possible qualifiers are Catsville and Kopano. Kopano however will have to work there socks off if they want to beat an experienced Cobras outfit to displace Smuts in second place.
