UCTRFC Old Boys-What Happened to ‘Nate’ Meyer – Ikeys 1999 – 2002

Remember Nate Meyer the flank who played in the victorious – league conquering MC Marais side of 2002 alongside current 1st Team coach John Dobson and some other legends? Where are all the other Ikeys from that team?

Played at varsity when, what positions and for what teams:
I played from 1999/2002 U21,MC Marais ,2nd Team – also went on the 2002 Boland tour.  I played flank but started out as wing at U21s.
 
Where are you now and what are you doing?: Cape Town, Married and two kids, I work at Daliff Precision Engineering as a QC Manager.
 
Best varsity rugby memory?: Winning the league in 2002 with MC Marais and team mates like John Dobson.
 
“I was renowned for”: My right hock.
 
Any guys you are still in touch with?: Not actually but had a words with Dobbo a couple of times.
 
Do you follow the UCT Ikey Tigers and the Club?: I will die an Ikey!  “UCT”!!!!!!!! All the way.
