Remember Kev ‘Milk’-Stout a legendary MC Marais and Moss XV prop, who was incidently also one of the social pillars of the club. Stoutie famously made the Eikestad Nuus, the Stellenbosch Newspaper’s frontpage after dominating the third half, celebrating the Ikey’s 2004 Intervarsity win.
Name / Nickname: Kevin Stout – MilkStout

Best varsity rugby memories?:
Watching that famous Ikey victory over Stellenbosch in 2004.
Hearing Dobbo’s inspirational speeches before each MC Marais and Moss game that gave me goose bumps, “Once more into the breach dear friends!”
Playing one game for UCT Second XV, when they were a few players short, and getting to play next to my illustrious hero and long time loyal servant of UCT Rugby, “the Door”.
Biggest Hit!:
Getting so drunk in celebration, after the above mentioned Intervarsity victory, that I made it onto the front page of the Stellenbosch Newspaper with the headline “Ikeys and Bacchus team up!”
“I was renowned for”: Making up the numbers and liberally enjoying the beer and brandy after each game.
Any guys you are still in touch with?: Thomas “Slayer” Davies and the rest we chat over Facebook.
Do you follow the UCT Ikey Tigers and the Club?: Absolutely. Although I don’t get to watch the games (even though some of them are televised now) I still catch up on Rugby365.com
