UCT teams kick off friendlies in Paarl

UCT A – the 1st team minus the Varsity Cup players and the respective second and third teams will travel to Paarl this weekend to play their first friendly match of the season.

UCT A who are coached by Anthony Fenton Wells and Phil Venter will be lead by 2009 league captain Bodo Sieber and veteran flank Luzuko Panya who is back in the club after playing Currie Cup rugby for the EP Elephants.

The game will give Varsity Cup fringe players a crack at impressing the coaches as well as everybody else a chance to impress for the upcoming leage season.
