UCT host Victorians on Election day
While SA’s political parties will be waiting for first results, UCT are also looking to score big, when they take on Victorians from Stellenbosch on Wednesday night. The UCT vs Vics clash as always promises to be an entertaining, high scoring affair of running rugby.

In order to insure his side can build on their solid first round win against Durbell, Ikey Tigers coach John Dobson has made some rotational changes. A few of the Ikey Tigers also have knocks from last weekend, but the squad has the luxury of good depth and a tough, three matches in seven days week like this requires fresh legs whereever possible.
The Tigers field an all new front row and Kyle Wickins gets a start at scrumhalf. Dayne Galley is in the side at no8, as is Pieter Engelbrecht at 12, who takes over from Sean van Tonder.
UCT Eagles coaches Dave Wessels and Tank Lanning had lots of work to do after Saturday’s dissappointing performance against Durbell – where the Eagles had been 16:0 up and lost in the end. Their side will be looking to play to its potential on Wednesday and see off the challenge from their young Stellenbosch counterparts.
