TORNADO TAMES RAMPANT CATS
There was one match played on the Green Mile last night. The Steinhoff Nadoes had their work cut out for them as they took on a Steinhoff Cats team hungry for a win and a Semi-Final spot.
The Steinhoff Cats team had all to play for as a win would see them in fourth spot. They came out like a house on fire and made most of the play as the Nadoes where defending for most of the first half. Once the Steinhoff Nadoes got going they finally scored in the corner with the conversion successful and taking a seven point lead. The Steinhoff Cats hit back with a penalty of their own and went into the break with a four point deficit.
The second half saw Steinhoff Nadoes doing most of the attacking, some bone crunching tackles where put in by the Cats players neutralizing the Steinhoff Nadoes attack. The Nadoes however scored a second try which took the points telly to 14 – 3.
This is how the match ended; it was a sloppy game with many handling errors. A match which could easily have gone the other way if the Cats took their opportunities
