The Ikey Tigers are gearing up for their fourth match in 10 days and while they can field a virtually unchanged team, they will have to bring all their flair and skill to challenge Durbell.

Coach Hanyani Shimange is able to field an unchanged pack which offers some valuable momentum. The young ikeys of course will need to front up against the tough and battle hardened Durbies forwards. 

Durbel of course are a quality set-up and were the top non varsity team in the WP league in 2012 – coming second to winners Maties. They qualified for the inaugural Community Cup where they advanced to the play offs and lost to finalists College Rovers in a tightly contested 17:27 affair.

In the only change in the Ikeys backline is injured flyer Lihleli Xoli who gets replaced by Luke Bax on the wing, so UCT can rely on the likes of Leyds (pictured), Bax and Frylink to spark their attack.

Big lock Shaun Macdonald is back on the bench in place of Kylie Kriel and Rick Schroeder returns from WP Vodacom to provide scrum half cover. Evergreen Andre Coetzer is also back on the bench and is as always a reliable option for some additional go forward.

Coach Shimmie confirmed he is happy after the unbeaten start to the season and promised that despite a front ranker being in charge, UCT will of course continue to run the ball and stay true to their natural style of play.
