Steinhoff Tornadoes Play a Stormer To Clinch Title
The Steinhoff Tornadoes put up a sterling performance to clinch the Steinhoff UCT Internal League Cup.
The 2010 final was contested against the Steinhoff Cobras and the Steinhoff Nadoes on a perfect evening, you could not have asked for better conditions. Both teams came into the final’s unbeaten through out the season and it was left up to this one moment to see who was going to keep there unbeaten streak and with that claim the 2010 Final.
On the night Nadoes ran rampant and controlled there match well but had slip ups as they allowed the cobras back in the match. Second half was a different story as they then took full control of the match and winning quite easily in the end.
Nadoes now hold the honour of representing UCT in the Steinhoff Varsity Cup Koshuis League in 2011.
