Steinhoff Dagbreek make light work of Steinhoff Tornadoes

The Steinhoff Dagbreek koshuis from Stellenbosch finished on a high on Monday afternoon when they beat Steinhoff Tornadoes from UCT 61-5 to claim third spot on the Koshuis standings.

Steinhoff Dagbreek raced into a 21-0 lead after 23 minutes before Steinhoff Tornadoes got their first points of the game through a try by lock, Tom van As. Steinhoff Dagbreek fullback, Edri Vorster, replied shortly afterwards when he ran a perfect line to cross for his side’s fourth try as Steinhoff Dagbreek lead 29-5 at the break.

It was more of the same for Steinhoff Dagbreek in the second half as they converted possession into points. Ill-discipline cost Steinhoff Tornadoes dearly in the second half as they had players yellow and red carded through-out the half.

Steinhoff Dagbreek scored four more unanswered tries in the second half as they ran away with it to secure a powerful win.
