Player’s Commitee for 2009 elected

At the recent UCT RFC Annual General Meeting, which was attended by about 100 players and club members, a new committee was elected to represent the players and help steer our student club in 2009.

This year’s club captain Chad Barker had done a great job and naturally was suggested for another year, but due to study commitments was no longer available. Congratulations to Xhanti Nesi who has served on this years committee and has been elected the 2009 Club Captain.

Sipo Evans Jnr Committee (2008 U20 A1s)
Robert Nichol Jnr Committee (2008 U20 A2s captain)
Scott Watermeyer Jnr Committee (2008 U20 Junior Tigers)

1st team coach and UCTRFC legend John Dobson has been elected as one of the club’s Vice Presidents and joins Phil Kilroe, John Le Roux and Neil Macdonald in that role.
