League Champions celebration UPDATE

It is time for all supporters, Old Boys and Ikey Foundation members to get together for a celebration and to enjoy the “season of all seasons” before we embark on the next and bigger challenge which is 2012. Join us on Monday the 7th of November at the great Smuts Hall Common Room, which we are looking to fill with Blue and White champions.

2011 has been labelled the most successful season in the history of the club and even the most astute blue and white rugby connoisseurs who got to experience the Ikeys heroics of the 60s and early 70s, would tend to agree and most certainly do so with a big smile on their faces.

For those of you who haven’t seen or held the Super League trophy yet, this is your well deserved chance.

Joining our guests and players are some special guests, including Dugald Macdonald, Nick Fenton Wells and the charismatic and generous Ikeys Old Boy Neville Isdell who admitted to ‘tears in his eyes’ when he heard of the League Title feat.
