Ikeys to tackle SK Walmers
UCT are looking to get back on track after last week’s defeat to Maties. Tonight’s opposition SK Walmers are currently ahead of UCT in the log with a game in hand, having lost three and won three matches.
The Tigers have rotated their team quite drastically from last weekend. Captain Nick Fenton Wells is out sick and JJ Gagiano injured, so veteran lock Bodo Sieber will captain the side.
Chris Heiberg gets a start at tighthead in place of Grant Kemp who drops out of the 22, Dylan Rogers will provide cover at prop. Paul Cohen starts on the wing, with Marcel Brache moving to number 12 and Sean van Tonder getting a rest on the bench.
Sharief Hendricks gets a well deserved start at scrumhalf playing behind a new look backrow, that includes Yaya Hartzenberg at 8 and Zandy MacDonald at 6.
Nick Koster will again come off the bench later in the game.
The 1st team match kicks off at 21.00 – UCT Eagles and 3rds who both went down to Durbell on Wednesday are also in action again - as are the U20 A1s and Moss and Marais teams – see times below.
