Ikeys ring changes for Belhar

First start for the Ikey Tigers – U20s flank Joshua Katzen
UCT, will host Belhar at the Green Mile on Saturday, with coach Kevin Foote ringing the changes after Wednesday's 19-27 defeat to Durbanville-Bellville.

Ross Jones-Davies gets a start at fullback, inside centre Adrian Kritzinger replaces provincial colleague Tiger Bax at No.12 and young Joshua Katzen (pictured) – who captained the Ikeys in the Varsity Young Guns / U20s competition – gets his first start at this level after catching the eye off the bench on Wednesday.

Katzen's promotion means that regular skipper Ntsolo Setlaba gets a deserved rest on the bench, where he will be joined by Neil Rautenbach, with Matt Page starting at hooker this week.

Belhar finished second from bottom in the 2011 Western Province Super League, but coach Foote will not under-estimate the visiting outfit.

"Belhar are always a tough side," said Foote, "the key is to get on top of them early on, in terms of your pack, otherwise they can make life very uncomfortable for you."

Three Ikeys players are undergoing fitness tests later today and may still feature in late changes to the match day 22.
