Ikeys center to tackle the British Lions

UCT powerhouse center Pieter Engelbrecht has been called up by the Golden Lions Rugby Union to play against the British and Irish Lions next week.  The Gauteng Union have had some Bok call-ups and injuries and were quick to call up the Ikeys backline player who is also speedy enough to play on the wing.

The British Lions have landed in SA today and the Gauteng Lions will be their first match of the series. Pieter Engelbrecht has just recently spent time in Johannesburg as he had been cast to play Frank Bunce in Clint Eastwood’s new blockbuster “The Human Factor”.
