FNB UCT  & UP Tuks Looking To Get Back On Track

At this point in the competition we’ve reached the halfway stage for most teams. However the turbulent nature of the FNB Varsity Cup suggests that where you at halfway may not necessarily be where you end up at the end of the season.

FNB UP Tuks will be hoping to prove that mythos true when they get their season back on track on Monday against a strong FNB UCT side who will have the backing of their home fans.

The side from Pretoria find themselves in their worst ever position at this stage of the competition with the 3 losses in 3 games and at the bottom of the table.

However one would be foolish to rule them out of the playoff spots just yet and the side may just come back with fire in their bellies which makes them a tough side to come up against for any team.

The same can almost definitely be said for FNB UCT at this stage of the competition too. Although their log position is very different, with the side looking pretty in a playoff position. Their previous loss against FNB Shimlas at home would have hurt the side from Cape Town as they could very easily have been the victors in that fixture.

The men from Cape Town are well aware how quickly a team can slip out of the playoff spots in this competition and will desperately want to hold on to their spot with a win against the side from Pretoria.

The trajectories of these 2 teams suggests we’re in for a mouth-watering clash in Cape Town which one would be foolish to miss as both of these teams have so much to gain from a win in this fixture.

Catch this game at the UCT Green Mile on Monday at 18:30pm. Tickets available on Webtickets, you do not want to miss this.
