Emerging 7s Boks go down in Safari finals

Dane Galley and Marvin Christians who played at the Safari Sevens in Kenya with the Emerging Boks team lost to the poweful homeside  in the finals by 40:19.

The young Boks had beaten Samoa 27:22 in the cup semi final in a cracking match that went into sudden death. Kenya however were too strong in front of their home crowd and captain Collins Injera contributed four tries when his team who lead 26:7 at the half, ran away with the game winning 40:19.

Cape Town club Hamilton’s were also present, playing as the Hamilton Raiders – they lost the cup quarter finals to Samoa but proceeded to win the Plate finals.
