We’re looking for vibrant, vivacious students to spread that Varsity Spirit in 2020! You will be expected to engage with fellow-students around the UCT campuses, promoting the Ikey Tigers brand and encouraging students to sign up as Social Members and attend Varsity Cup matches.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

• Attend induction and rehearsals at UCT on Saturday 25/01/2020
• Stage lecture crashes during O-Week (Monday 27/01/2020 – Friday 31/01/2020)
• Accompany the Ikey Tiger mascot at Freshers’ Braai (Friday 31/01/2020) and around campus during Plaza Week (Monday 03/02/2020 – Wednesday 07/02/2020)
• Solicit sign-ups from students in your residence/course/etc. throughout the rest of February
• Promote Varsity Cup and the Ikey Tigers on your personal social media profile(s) from late January through to mid-April
• Attend matches on Monday nights throughout 1st Semester, and lead war cries and songs
• Assist in running activations on Lower Campus over the weekend leading up to a match

• Monday 10/02/2020 (Ikeys vs Pukke)
• Monday 17/02/2020 (Ikeys vs UWC)
• Monday 02/03/2020 (Ikeys vs Wits)
• Monday 09/03/2020 (Ikeys vs Maties)
• Monday 16/03/2020 (Ikeys vs Shimlas)
• Monday 23/03/2020 (Ikeys vs Tuks)

In exchange for your epic contribution, you will get:

• Free uniform: blue jumpsuit + 2 Ikey Tigers T-shirts
• Free drink before YG kickoff, between YG and VC game, and after VC game
• Commissions on membership and game attendance: 25c per Social Membership sign-up, 10c per match attendee
