Armand to become a Chief

Ikeys and Stormers flank Don Armand has become the latest player to leave WP after he confirmed a move to English Premiership club Exeter Chiefs.

The UCT stalwart won the Varsity Cup with the Ikey Tigers in 2011 and then the Currie Cup with Western Province in 2012 can play both at lock and blindside flank and got his share of Super Rugby opportunities in the last two seasons.

"It's been an amazing privilege to be a part of the Stormers family. My team-mates, management and especially the fans have given me an amazing experience. Memories that will last a lifetime," he tweeted.

Exeter Chiefs finished 6th in the Premiership and will debut in the Heineken Cup in the 2013 / 2014 season.

We wish Don all the best with this opportunity in the UK.
