Marketing & Events Manager

Duties include:

  • Manage the logistics of the marketing campaign (purchasing, distribution, printing, etc.)
  • Manage Social Membership sign-ups and member attendance at home games
  • Coordinate and manage a group of student marketing volunteers during O-week and Plaza Week
  • Coordinate with various content contributors to ensure a successful awareness campaign across local media, UCT media and social media throughout the Varsity Cup period
  • Assist in the running of a 6-week Tag League during the February/March period

The period of employment is 6 January – 27 March. Although the employment qualifies as part-time, you will be expected to be available full-time during the following periods:

  • Friday 24 January
  • Saturday 25 January
  • 27 – 31 January
  • 3 – 5 February
  • Mondays 10 February, 17 February, 2 March, 9 March, 16 March, 23 March
